Hey guys.

What application/program do you think is the best when it comes to graphic designing?  Is it a matter of personal preference, or what your skill level is?  Does it matter if you pay for it or are free apps effective?

I eventually want to learn how to do graphic designing.  This help would be greatly appreciated Smile

Hey guys.

I'm new to this type of stuff, and I have no idea what the differences are between the PunBB versions? I presume that they are just updates, but I'm not exactly sure.

Did you mean to post this in the graphics section? Also did you mean phpBB?

If you want to learn, you can try Pixlr it's free , online and has pretty much the basics you need to start, once you have the hang of it you can move on to PhotoShop or Gimp, your preference. The only advise can give it to not give up, I tried numerous time, failed and tried again until I got the hang of it. My preference is PhotoShop, but I occasionally use Pixlr for quick edits and other quick jobs.
